Ever wondered why your paintwork becomes dull and faded?

A. Hair-line scratches, and surface contaminants are primary elements on newer vehicles.

B. Oxidisation (also called ‘Chalking’):

• This occurs via UV rays, fall   out, acid rain, extreme hot and cold temperatures.
• Once oxidisation occurs a previously smooth painted surface breaks down and dirt collects and hardens here.
• Under a microscope Oxidisation looks like ‘canyons’. Here dirt collects and cannot be removed by washing alone.
• The only way to resolve this is by levelling the ‘canyons’ or polishing them. This requires specialised techniques, polymers and abrasives that will return the surfaces back to their original smooth finish.

How to get amazing finishes!

1. AutoGlym^TM Polish (Surcharge For S.U.V.)

• For new & old  paintwork. Will remove light swirl. Will not remove oxidisation. For surfaces with low exposure to the elements.
• Frequency: every 4-6 months.

2. AutoGlym^TM Clay Bar & AutoGlymTM Polish (Surcharge For S.U.V.)

• For new & old paintwork. Will not remove oxidisation. Will remove light swirl marks. For surfaces with regular exposure to the elements.
• Frequency: every 6-12 months.

3. AutoGlym^TM Double Polish (Surcharge For S.U.V.)

• For older (>2 yrs) paintwork ,with OR without oxidisation. Will remove light scratches & swirl. For surfaces with regular exposure to the elements.
• Frequency: every 4-6 months.

4. AutoGlym^TM Double Polish & Clay Bar (Surcharge For S.U.V.)

• For slightly older (>2 yrs) paintwork ,with OR without oxidisation. Will remove light scratches & swirl. For surfaces regularly exposed to the elements.
• Frequency: every 4-6 months.

5. AutoGlym^TM Five Stage Glaze / Polish (Surcharge For S.U.V.)

• The ‘Rolls Royce’ of all Glazes/Polishes.
• Includes: Clay bar, and 4 individual stages of polishing.
• For new & old paintwork, in almost any condition.
• 6 Monthly return for an application of the resin provided when we first carry out the Five Stage Glaze. 
• Frequency: Every 18 months. Every 24 months if surface is followed up with a light polish every 6 months.
